How many students does the scholarship serve at each school?
Tuition amount is different at each school. The Scholarship Fund gives an equal amount to each school each year, and the schools distribute the funds to students according to their own assessment processes.
How are students selected to receive tuition assistance through the fund?
Each school has its own process for determining financial need. The Robert M. Morand Scholarship Fund relies on the individual school’s leadership to identify scholarship recipients. The only criterion imposed by the Scholarship Fund is the students receiving aid be residents of the City of Detroit.
